Wander through pick-your-own orchards, sample cherry ice cream under the trees, and take home local jams, cherry pies and sweet summer memories. This is where the season shines. Ripe, refreshing and ready to share. Come and taste the good life – one cherry at a time.

Cherry picking experiences and sales are only available during cherry season. It typically runs from the start of November through to the end of December (weather dependent), followed by other stone fruits into the new year. Not all orchards offer for pick-your-own experiences, check our listings below before you go.

RIPE IS RIGHT
Cherries will only ripen on the tree, so leave unripe ones behind.

KEEP THEM COOL
Once picked, keep cherries covered and put them in the refrigerator as soon as you can.

RESPECT THE TREE
Don’t snap the branches. Not only does this upset the orchardist, it damages the tree and future year’s crop.
