Cherrymore is a family-owned cherry and plum orchard located just south of Young in the renowned Hilltops Region, one of Australia’s premier stone fruit-growing areas.
Owned and operated by the Batinich family for four generations, Cherrymore is home to more than 65,000 fruit trees, including over 20 varieties of cherries and 10 varieties of plums. Generations of knowledge and hands-on experience have helped shape the orchard into a respected producer of quality fruit grown in the region’s ideal climate of cold winters and warm summers.
All fruit and products are single origin, grown and produced from the orchard itself, reflecting the family’s long-standing commitment to quality and local agriculture.
Visitors can purchase freshly harvested fruit through seasonal shed sales during cherry season, which typically runs from November to December, subject to seasonal conditions. The orchard does not offer pick-your-own experiences.
Located in the Cherry Capital of Australia and home of the National Cherry Festival, Cherrymore provides an opportunity to taste fruit grown in one of the world’s great stone fruit regions and experience a farming tradition that continues across generations.
