Escape to your own private basecamp on a 6,000-hectare working sheep and cattle station. Historic Rosewood Cottage is set among the rolling hills of the Lachlan River catchment. This is rural Australia at its most peaceful— wide open skies, big landscapes, wildlife, stars, undiscovered waterholes, farm life and plenty of space to disappear for a few days. When you book Basecamp, you have exclusive use of Rosewood Cottage, the glamping accommodation and all Basecamp facilities. Base price is for 10 adult beds- linen supplied. The additional 10 places are available for children to add to the tents. You will need to BYO bedding or swags for these extra places. The cottage is a beautifully restored historic homestead with a relaxed country feel, featuring a small kitchen and dining room, comfortable lounge, library, outdoor deck and firepit. Outside, you’ll find plenty of room to explore, with walking tracks, native bushland, stunning creeks and spectacular views across the property. Fish or paddle in the creek or check out the library for games and puzzles.
