Experience the vibrant heart of the Hilltops Region. Our community events reflect the local life, featuring markets and cultural celebrations that highlight our rich agricultural heritage and arts scene.

Autumn kicks off with the Hilltops Off the Beaten Track Culture and Arts Trail, showcasing local artists and galleries throughout March.

Spring celebrates the Boorowa Irish Woolfest during the October long weekend, a lively festival honouring the town’s Irish roots, complete with the highlight “The running of the sheep” and a lively parade.

The following weekend, the Harden Kite Festival fills the skies with colourful kites, fostering community spirit and joy for families.

Summer brings the National Cherry Festival, where locals and visitors enjoy orchard tours, cherry-picking adventures, bustling markets brimming with artisanal goods, live entertainment, amusements, a street parade and so much more over a festive 3 day period on the first weekend in December.

Heritage Walks in each town invite history enthusiasts to explore the area’s past, guided by knowledgeable locals through streets lined with historic buildings.

Throughout the year, local farmers’ markets and craft fairs like the Murrumburrah Twilight Fair celebrate community spirit and showcase our regional bounty. The Hilltops Region is a vibrant tapestry of events that encapsulates the essence of regional Australian life.
